I am always searching for moments of authenticity and connection. Those two elements are a driving force in my work that inspire infinite exploration. I love when I can see bits and pieces of myself reflected in the images I create, specifically when photographing other people. The ability to make connections with others through my medium and the photographic process is so powerful, especially when there’s a sense of freedom and comfort that allows for authenticity within my subject. Watching people let go of the social and cultural barriers that surround getting your picture taken means the world to me. I crave the moments when there’s no divide created by the physicality of the camera.
